Changing disease patterns and the passage of time made a redesign necessary for a more efficient medical center.
Why was a redesign necessary?
Over time, disease patterns and the operational needs of medical facilities change. For this project, redesign was identified as a way to bring the plan closer to current needs and create a more efficient medical centre.
The goal was not simply to change the building’s appearance. The review was intended to improve how the project responds to healthcare needs and how it can be delivered.
Intended outcome
The redesign established a basis for continuing work from updated drawings and connecting construction with needs assessment and current requirements.
- Aligning the plan with healthcare needs
- Improving the centre’s operational efficiency
- Creating a clearer basis for continued construction work
